BIGG BOSS 7 (2013) HINDI REALITY SHOW REVIEW

TORTURE IN THE NAME OF ENTERTAINMENT!!!

HOST: SALMAN KHAN
HOUSE MATES: TANISHA, ARMAAN, GAUHAR, ANDY, SANGRAM, PRATHYUSHA, KAMYA, KUSHAL
CHANNEL: COLORS TV
TIME: 9 PM TO 10 PM

There used to be only one channel i.e Doordarshan earlier, and we had news without masala, some programs which given knowledge along with entertainment, some genuinely made serials and live cricket. People were more than happy with one channel, no fighting for remote, and had good programs.
As technology improved and satellite channels introduced we had the previlige of hundreds of channels. Now we have separate channels for news, movies, serials etc… family members now fight over remote control to watch their favourite programs.

The TV producers have the tough job of continuosly producing 24 hous of entertainment to the viewers to stay in the business. Daily soaps loosing its viewership and trend of reality show begins. Singning and dance competions also loosing some shine and the shows like BIGG BOSS took center stage.
Bigg Boss is the reality show where contestans have to live in a house and the lone survivor at the end of the show wins.

To survive they have to play different tasks and have to compete with other contetstans even after the tasks, for this matter they play politics and of course politics sometimes uglier than the real politics. To gain TRP’s show makers show the things which should not be shown on television, where participant shouts and give all the bad words in a dictionary to felloew contestant, sometimes it goes up to the physical fight.
Those who watch the show sure to get some BP rise and feel pity for the contestants who generally failed actors or some other professionals did not big in their career.

In the name of entertainment we get only loads of bad words and some unwanted attitudes from players, which is evidently scripted.the only good thing about this program is the Host Himself, Salman khan. You take out of this and this show would be a disaster.

                                                                      BIGG BOSS 7

Verdict: Don’t waste your time on this!!!

Chillar Party (2011) : Hindi Movie review

Chillar Party (2011) : Hindi Movie review

Chillar Party is a 2011 Bollywood children's film directed by Nitesh Tiwari and Vikas Bahl, and produced by Ronnie Screwvala under the UTV Motion Pictures and Salman Khan under his SKBH Productions (Salman Khan Being Human Productions). The film has a multiple-cast of debuting child-artists particularly named after movies such as, Silencer, Aflatoon, Shaolin, etc. It also features Ranbir Kapoor in an item-number.

"Chillar party" refers to a gang of several boys who live in Chandan Nagar society in Mumbai. Apart from their mischievousness, all the society members accept and adore them. When a orphan boy Fatka (Irrfan Khan) enters the society with his dog Bhidu, the gang initially has some problems with the newcomer because of some misunderstandings. These problems, however, soon resolve and the "Chillar party" accepts Fatka and his dog as friends. Problems within the gang soon arise again when a state minister comes for the opening ceremony of a playground. At the ceremony, the minister's secretary is bitten by Fatka's dog Bhidu for good reason. With anger and vengeance, the minister and his secretary pass a law that requires street dogs that have no "N.O.C" from the society must be thrown out of Mumbai. It is left upto the childern to save Bhidu to be caught by the dog catcher unit. Chillar Party relates the tale of children trying to save a dear friend and dog from a minister and his harsh law.

Fantastic movie, brilliant performances from kids, simple and effective storyline, highly recommanded.
Rating : 3.5/5
Go for it...
