The year 2013 is celebrated as 100th year of Indian cinema, but instead of focusing on making movies with content most of the movie makers just want to make money by spinning of sequels and remakes which only focus on recovering money by the releasing weekend. the budget of promotion exceeding movie budget and wide releases ensure return of money by a week.There was big budget sequels, star studded masala flicks, movies collected more than 100 crores etc.. but but genuinely entertaining cinema is very rare as always.

SPECIAL 26  is a Neeraj Pandey directed  heist thriller movie. as name suggests ita very special film released in 2013. Akshay kumar back to realistic character with Anupam kher delivering brilliant performance. Manoj bajpai is awesome. Tight screenplay and interesting story makes it a must watch.

MADRAS CAFE After Vicky donor a Hilarius movie Shoojit sircar took a serious political thriller and he succeed in it. equally praised by critics and audience. John abraham's best performance till date.

THE LUNCHBOX movie like these does not comes often in hindi cinema. Ritesh batra directed romantic movie brillaiantly enacted by Irfan Khan and Nimrat Kaur.

SHIP OF THESUS Anand gandhi directed drama film, got lot of recognition from various film festivals. a sensible cinema every movie lover will appreciate.Not to be missed.

RAANJHANAA is Anand rai directed romantic love story backdrop of politics. superb music by A.R Rahman and brilliant cinematography by Natarajan and Vishal. it features Dhanush ' s debut in Hindi and good performances from lead cast, Abhay deol, Sonam kapoor and Dhanush.

There are very few one time watch movies released in 2013.

MUST SEE HINDI MOVIES OF 2011

Hindi film industry produces more than 100 movies every year eventhogh the sucess rate is mere 10 %. some of the good films dont run for a week, whereas overly hyped star studded movies collect 100's of crores in the box office. this often confuses the audiences which is actually a good movie. to avoid this confusion MUST SEE MOVIE LIST  is given to save your time and protect you from you from the movies which dont deserve your time.

The list is not in any particular order.




PYAR KA PUNCHNAMA : This is a small budget all new star cast movie, which is sure to impress you, very well written teen comedy which will make you laugh from begining to end. don't miss it!!!

CHILLAR PARTY : another small budget children movie which can be enjoyed by adults too. kudos to the kids, brilliant performances. very rarely we get to see children's movie and yes this is one of them which shoud not be missed.

SINGHAM : the famous tamil singham remake filled with all the ingardients of bollywood mass masala, yet entertaining from first frame to last with rohit shetty stamp all over it.

FORCE : Yet another tamil remake of Kakka kakka , brillaintly renade by Nishikanth kamath. which has right mixture of action and romance.

AARAKSHAN : Prakash jha movie with strong message on reservation and corruption in education system, with power pack performance from Amithab bachchan and Saif ali khan.

There were other movie which can considered as one time watch such as STANLEY KA DABBA, DELLY BELLY, THE DIRTY PICTURE, BHEJA FRY 2.

SPECIAL 26 (2013) HINDI MOVIE REVIEW

‘Asli Power toh Script Main Hoti Hai’ ;)

Special 26 had huge expectation because of the director neeraj pandey, his directorial debut a Wednesday won critical acclaim and box office battle. He did not disappoint this time either. In fact he has generated huge expectation for his future ventures. 

Special 26 is crime heist comedy movie. And devoid of any bollywood masala.

The film starts with a relatively slow pace. The introduction of manoj bajpai shifts the gear and movie pick up the pace from here. The lead actors akshay and anupam kher played their character very naturally and both were in superb form. Manoj bajpai  delivers solid performance as usual. Other actors did their part well.

The movies story set in late 80’s. the art department and camera men worked realy hard, that can be seen in each and every scene. BGM and music was apt but nothing extra ordinary. And importantly kudo’s to the casting. They did spot on casting. Each and every actor appearing for smallest role did their part neatly, which is very rare in the Indian movies.

Story and screenplay was sharp and racy in the 2^nd half. The romance track and song sequences of akshay and kajal aggarwal was unneccassary. Which slowed down the racy screenplay a bit.

Dialogues were funny and the suspence element was predictable still movie entertains you till last minute. Second half of movie was far better when compared to the little slower first half. The climax was brilliant.

Instead of so called masala movies and their sequels and remakes, we deserve a sequel to this nicely made movie.

Verdict : a decent entertainer, don’t miss it.

Chillar Party (2011) : Hindi Movie review

Chillar Party is a 2011 Bollywood children's film directed by Nitesh Tiwari and Vikas Bahl, and produced by Ronnie Screwvala under the UTV Motion Pictures and Salman Khan under his SKBH Productions (Salman Khan Being Human Productions). The film has a multiple-cast of debuting child-artists particularly named after movies such as, Silencer, Aflatoon, Shaolin, etc. It also features Ranbir Kapoor in an item-number.

"Chillar party" refers to a gang of several boys who live in Chandan Nagar society in Mumbai. Apart from their mischievousness, all the society members accept and adore them. When a orphan boy Fatka (Irrfan Khan) enters the society with his dog Bhidu, the gang initially has some problems with the newcomer because of some misunderstandings. These problems, however, soon resolve and the "Chillar party" accepts Fatka and his dog as friends. Problems within the gang soon arise again when a state minister comes for the opening ceremony of a playground. At the ceremony, the minister's secretary is bitten by Fatka's dog Bhidu for good reason. With anger and vengeance, the minister and his secretary pass a law that requires street dogs that have no "N.O.C" from the society must be thrown out of Mumbai. It is left upto the childern to save Bhidu to be caught by the dog catcher unit. Chillar Party relates the tale of children trying to save a dear friend and dog from a minister and his harsh law.

Fantastic movie, brilliant performances from kids, simple and effective storyline, highly recommanded.

FORCE (2011) HINDI MOVIE : MUSIC REVIEW

Force is an upcoming Bollywood action thriller film directed by Nishikanth Kamath, starring John Abraham and Genelia D'Souza. It is a remake of Gautham Menon's successful 2003 Tamil film, Kaakha Kaakha and is about a dutiful cop who chases the capture of a dreaded gangster. The film will release on September 30, 2011.

"MAIN CHALI" IS ANOTHER TRACK SUNG BY NARESH ANS SHEYA, HAVING A STRONG INFLUENCE OF ARR SONGS STILL BEAUITFULLY EXECUTED

 DIL KI TAMANNA SUNG BY VIJAY PRAKASH AND SHALINI IS SOFT MELODIOUS ;LIKED AFTER REPEATED HEARING.


DUM HO TO AAJA VERY SIMILAR TO THE GHAJINI SONG AYE BACHU STILL SONG IS GUD PEPPY NUMBER , VISUALS MAY ENHANCE THE EFFECT OF THE SONG

OVERALL THE ALBUM IS WORTH LISTENING
