Escape Plan is 2013 action thriller prison break movie which
had yesteryears two biggest stars Sylvester Stallone and Arnold in lead roles. The
film is directed by Mikeal Halfstorm who earlier directed movies like 1408,
Evil and The rite. Having stars like Arnold and Stallone in a movie generates
huge expectations and curiosity. People expect a fully action packed thriller. It
has some action but the main theme is how they break from prison.
Nothing new in the plot and the suspense. It tells the story
of escape from prison. But breaking prison scenes were good and interesting. The
are some action sequences and gun battle to satisfies the fans of these two
superstars. The interesting part of the movie was the plan to escape from
prison which was shown very convincingly. Suspense was predictable.
The main performances come from Arnold and Stallone they did very
well. Other star cast also did their part . BGM and camera work ere apt. there
was tremendous production work and visual effects for the prison sequences
which was the biggest plus point otherwise it was very ordinary movie.
