The film, made on a budget of INR84 crore (US$18.73 million), is the most expensive film in Suriya's career till date.
 Track List

1. "Oh Ringa Ringa"   P. Vijay Roshan, Jerry John, Benny Dayal & Suchitra 5.03
2. "Mun Andhi"   Na. Muthukumar Karthik & Megha 6.15
3. "Yellae Lama"   Na. Muthukumar Vijay Prakash, Karthik, Shalini & Shruti Hassan 5.21
4. "Yamma Yamma"   Kabilan S. P. Balasubrahmanyam & Swetha Menon 6.07
5. "Innum Enna Thozha"   P. Vijay Balram, Naresh Iyer & Suchith Suresan 4.49
6. "The Rise of Damo" (Chinese song) Madhan Karky Hao Wang 3.16

A R Murugadoss , Suriya and Harris Jayaraaj Combination itself gives lot of hype and expectations.

the album opens with a peppy number Ringa Ringa which resembles Taxi Taxi song from Sakkarakatti because of the genre is the same and few places songs are too similar. But it fails to impress.

Mun Andhi is a melodiuos track and leaves a soothing effect in ears, ( thanks to Karthik's voice) eventhough it resembles Harris Jayaraaj's previous works.

Yellae Lama is also a peppy number having harris stamp all over it, but for a big project like 7aam arivu this song is a let down.

Yamma Yamma another melodiuos track (sad song) sung by legend SPB, got meaningful lyrics, you may like after repeated hearing.

Innum Ena is inspirational song but just an above average effort.

The Rise Of Damo is a chineese track sung by Hao Wang which couldnot live upto expectations, still its a good effort from Harris.

Pick of the album is the song : Mun Aandhi

rating : 2.5/5

When a orphan boy Fatka (Irrfan Khan) enters the society with his dog Bhidu, the gang initially has some problems with the newcomer because of some misunderstandings. These problems, however, soon resolve and the "Chillar party" accepts Fatka and his dog as friends. Problems within the gang soon arise again when a state minister comes for the opening ceremony of a playground. At the ceremony, the minister's secretary is bitten by Fatka's dog Bhidu for good reason. With anger and vengeance, the minister and his secretary pass a law that requires street dogs that have no "N.O.C" from the society must be thrown out of Mumbai. It is left upto the childern to save Bhidu to be caught by the dog catcher unit. Chillar Party relates the tale of children trying to save a dear friend and dog from a minister and his harsh law.

Fantastic movie, brilliant performances from kids, simple and effective storyline, highly recommanded.
