After Billa director Vishnuvardhan teams up with Ajith
kumar, and gives yet another thriller called ARRAMBAM. Expectations were sky
high since the hit combination back again and there is always big hype whenever
a project involves Ajith kumar. After the not so successful Billa 2 Ajith
delivers a engaging thriller.
Movie is a revenge drama which also involves action,
shootouts, robbery mixed with some sentiments and love story. Director avoids
the side comedy tracks which are very common in Tamil movie industry.
Ajith’s character has some negative shades in the first half
and he eases into character. His screen presence is awesome which lifts the
movie. Arya provided the comic relief along with Tapsee and Nayan tara. Mahesh
manjrekar plays the baddy which had some comic element in it. Atul kulakarni
and Kishor played thrie part well.
Camera work was brilliant and so as stunt choreography. They
could have avoided song sequences which act as speed breakers for this racy
thriller. Some dialogues drawn clapps while other were not so effective. Back
ground was apt from Yuvan Shankar Raja but same cannot be told for the songs
which were very average.

Verdict: A enganging thriller, decent one time watch!!!
