Aashiq abu known to be the new generation director among new
comers and his preivoius flicks proved that he wants to take up new subjects
and new treatment which is not very common in Malayalam film industry. Unfortunately
this time he dint had any story or script. A small story can be told in 30 min
has been dragged to more than 2 hours.
Film crew claimed it is comedy film with nostalgic feel. But
it failed miser4ebly in both aspects. Ther not much to laugh and u wont feel
any nostalgia. There is only some smoking drinking stuff all over movie which
family audience may not like. Even thriller aspect also dint work perfectly.
The
star cast is not up to the ,mark. The energy and chemistry missing among them. The
only positive in the performance comes from the young boys. They did their part
well.
Technical department were apt and managed well despite of
the weak story.
BGM and Music was good from BIjibal. The flashback retro
feel was awesome. He is the musician to look forward. Camera was good. Stunt sequence
was not up to the mark.
